Can You Safely Trailer Your Tractor Canopy?
Always remove your tractor canopy before trailering.
Cruising down the highway at 70mph and catching a headwind can create an incredibly powerful upward force, and the last thing anyone needs is a tractor canopy soaring through the air and landing on their windshield. While it’s unlikely, it’s not unheard of. But more often than not, the canopy will bend and fold before it sails away. Unlike other tractor canopies, the Rhinohide Canopy can be removed in twenty seconds. And it’s lightweight and can be tossed in your pick up bed and reattached upon arrival.
Check with your manufacturer, but it’s unlikely your canopy is rated to be transported over 35mph, if it’s even mentioned at all. And it’s probably not something that easy to remove and reattach.
