VIRTUALLY INDESTRUCTIBLE
You will run into something. It's not if, but when.
Try this with any other canopy. We'd like to watch.
The Rhinohide Universal Mower Canopy is a shade canopy designed for all zero-turn mowers and virtually any mower with a roll bar (ROPS) built to outlast steel and fiberglass canopies.

The two reasons people buy a shade canopy for their mower or tractor are comfort and safety.
Comfort is obvious—the sun is hot, shade is not. Your tractor seat can be 80° cooler in the shade than in the sun.
You'll find yourself on your tractor or mower even more if you aren't dreading the heat.
Second—safety. More and more customers are reporting skin cancer or pre-cancerous symptoms after years of sun exposure. A hat isn't enough. Get yourself some shade.
But why buy the Rhinohide Canopy?
Many people buy cheaper canopies first, then come to Rhinohide just a year later wishing they'd started here.
The Rhinohide just might be the toughest canopy available for a tractor or mower. In any case, it will stand up to hard use and it's designed to last you a lifetime (that's why it comes with a Lifetime Warranty).
Unlike metal or fiberglass canopies, our canopy is designed to hide scratches, resist dents, and stand up to the hardest conditions—you won't find a tougher canopy on the market.
We provide a Lifetime Warranty and Unlimited Return Window. So whether your keep your canopy or not, you have nothing to lose by buying today.
Many tractors can't fit under a garage door with a canopy above the roll bar. The Rhinohide can be mounted above, even with, or below the roll bar.
If you have to trailer your mower, or just have projects where a canopy gets in the way, you can remove our canopy in seconds,
This might not be a singular reason to buy, but it feels good to know our canopy is made domestically.

The Rhinohide Canopy Fits Every Roll Bar We've Ever Tested
The Rhinohide Canopy mounts to virtually any tractor or mower roll bar (ROPS), regardless of brand or shape. Square, rectangular, or round tubing. Straight or angled. Trapezoidal or bowtie—we have mounting options for them all.
If your model and roll bar configuration are listed, we’ve already identified the hardware you need. Select the matching option when ordering—no measuring required.
If your model isn’t listed, follow our measuring guide or contact us before ordering. When we encounter an unfamiliar roll bar, we work with you to find a mounting solution. Recently, we had U-bolts and L-Brackets made to fit the 3-inch round tubing on a customer’s John Deere Fairway Mower.
Everything you need to mount your Rhinohide Canopy is included in a Universal kit.

We make buying a Rhinohide Canopy simple:
Sorry to our Canadian and international friends. We do not ship across the border.
Rhinohide Canopies install with simple hand tools and typically take about 40 minutes the first time.
First, decide where you want your canopy positioned—above the roll bar or in front of it.
The mounting hardware assembles with nuts and bolts, so you can fine-tune the canopy position during installation.
The only drilling required is through the plastic shell to attach the support arms.
Install your canopy while on relatively level ground.
See our step-by-step installation manual for complete instructions.
A. Measure your roll bar's outside-to-outside width
B. Measure your roll bar's tube steel width.
C. Measure your roll bar's tube steel depth.

If you plan to take your canopy on and off regularly, consider adding handles to improve your grip.
If you want to mount mirrors, lights, or fans you might want to add a cross-bar (or two).
Move your canopy from front-to-back if you use a backhoe on your tractor
Everything You Need to Know!
Our canopy mounts to a mower’s roll bar, and our included hardware fits just about every zero-turn roll bar we've encountered.
For roll bars made from round tubing, select the round U-bolt option. If you’re unsure, send us your mower model, measurements, and a photo.
No. Our mounting system requires a roll bar. If your mower doesn’t have one, this kit does not provide a mounting solution.
Yes, with the round U-bolt option. The round U-bolts have a 2½-inch inside diameter. Check your roll bar’s tubing diameter before ordering and contact us if you need help confirming fit.
A Rhinohide Canopy is a complete kit, meant to mount to your roll bar. It includes the canopy shell, support arms, mounting uprights, L-brackets, U-bolts, and fastening hardware for your selected mounting configuration.
Optional accessories sold separately include the Grab Handles, Accessory Bar, Backhoe Kit, and the Canopy Swap Kit.
The shell measures 37 inches wide by 45 inches long and weighs 13 pounds. The steel support arms and mounting hardware add roughly another 10 lb to the complete assembly.
The shell is made from high-density polyethylene, or HDPE, an incredibly tough plastic that flexes under stress. The mounting components are powder-coated steel with zinc-coated hardware.
Our standard hardware fits 90% of tractors, and 99% of mowers.
If you find your tractor or mower model already listed on our site, we’ve done the measuring for you. Otherwise, measure the roll bar’s overall width outside-to-outside, plus the width and depth of its tubing.
Standard hardware fits roll bars 41 inches wide or less, with tubing up to 2½ inches wide and 4 inches deep. Also check its angle. If your roll bar is angled more than 15°, you'll want to shop our Canopy for Angled Roll Bars (this doesn't apply to mowers, only tractors).
Contact us if your dimensions exceed these limits or you’re unsure which hardware to choose.
No. U-bolts clamp the mounting brackets to your roll bar. Installation requires drilling mounting holes through the plastic canopy shell only.
General safety says to never amend your roll bar in any way.
Allow about 45 minutes for one person installing a Rhinohide canopy for the first time. If you’re handy and have gone through our installation manual, you may finish in about 30 minutes.
You'll use simple tools like wrenches or sockets, a drill, and a tape measure.
There is really no wrong answer, but 10 inches above your head while seated is a useful starting point. A lower canopy provides more shade, but leave enough headroom and check that you can comfortably enter, exit, and operate your machine.
