Why customers choose Rhinohide

Universal Fit.

No Guesswork.

Rhinohide fits tractor and mower roll bars of all shapes—straight or angled, with square, rectangular, or round tubing.

Our standard hardware fits most roll tractor roll bars and virtually all mower roll bars.* Choose your model or follow our measuring guide to get the right hardware for your machine.

*Our standard hardware fits about 90% of roll bars, and we have hardware to fit the rest.

If you have a roll bar we haven't seen, we'll customize our hardware to work for you.

Everything you need in one kit.

When you order our canopy you get all the hardware needed to get it up and onto your roll bar.

Installation requires simple tools like wrenches, a drill (just thru plastic), and a tape measure (if you're particular).

Frequently Asked Questions

Rhinohide mounts to your tractor’s roll bar, also called a ROPS. If you find your tractor model already listed in the dropdown, we’ve done the measuring for you. Just select your model when ordering. If it isn’t listed, check the roll bar measurements below or contact us with your model and a photo for help choosing the right hardware.

A Rhinohide Canopy is a complete kit, meant to mount to your roll bar. It includes the canopy shell, support arms, mounting uprights, L-brackets, U-bolts, and fastening hardware for your selected mounting configuration.

Optional accessories sold separately include the Grab Handles, Accessory Bar, Backhoe Kit, and the Canopy Swap Kit.

The shell measures 37 inches wide by 45 inches long and weighs 13 pounds. The steel support arms and mounting hardware add roughly another 10 lb to the complete assembly.

The shell is made from high-density polyethylene, or HDPE, an incredibly tough plastic that flexes under stress. The mounting components are powder-coated steel with zinc-coated hardware.

Yes, and that's why many customers choose Rhinohide, to preserve clearance under garage doors.

Bringing our canopy closer to your head also provides more shade for you.

On zero-turn mowers, the canopy mounts above the roll bar as any lower mounting position almost always interferes with your head (exceptions do apply).

Allow about 45 minutes for one person installing a Rhinohide canopy for the first time. If you’re handy and have gone through our installation manual, you may finish in about 30 minutes.

You'll use simple tools like wrenches or sockets, a drill, and a tape measure.

It depends on the mounting position and your doorway height.

A below-roll-bar installation preserves your tractor’s existing height. Or you can remove the canopy when you need additional clearance, as it removes in 10-15 seconds.

There is really no wrong answer, but 10 inches above your head while seated is a useful starting point. A lower canopy provides more shade, but leave enough headroom and check that you can comfortably enter, exit, and operate your machine.

Yes. Always remove your Rhinohide canopy before transporting your tractor or mower on a trailer.

Yes, with compatible mounting positions and the Canopy Swap Kit. The kit adds mounts to your second machine; the same canopy and attached support arms move between them. Both roll bars must meet the kit’s fit requirements, and spacers may be needed. The Swap Kit is for standard roll bars only. Contact us with both machines’ measurements before ordering.

On tractors with standard roll bars, the Backhoe Kit adds a rear mounting position so you can move your existing canopy over the backhoe seat. It is not compatible with angled roll bars.

Yep! We believe in our canopy's durability so much that every Rhinohide canopy includes a simple-to-understand Lifetime Warranty.

If anything ever fails because of a fault on our part, contact us. We’ll replace the necessary parts at no cost to you.
